Resources and Information for Clients

Having a harmful experience of therapy can be isolating and confusing. Whether you have had a harmful experience in the past, are currently experiencing difficulties in your therapy, or if you are uncertain about whether what is happening in your therapy is okay, this area of the website aims to provide you with information and resources to make sense of your experience, make informed choices and seek support where needed.

In addition to information about harm in therapy, you will also find articles on transference, attachment, boundaries and rupture/repair in the therapeutic relationship - I hope it helps clients to navigate these potentially difficult areas of the therapeutic relationship confidently, and to be informed about the hallmarks of safe and ethical practice.
